To Canton

Canton:

All the little boys, Jordan, Daniel and Erin, read your posts and looked at the pictures. They thought you sleeping on the bus was funny.

Your cousin Josh Phillips got married this weekend and had a nice rehersal dinner and the wedding and reception were very nice.

The boys got a slip and slide and played with that this weekend. I cut all the yards today, weed eated,a dn blew the driveway adn the walk clean. SUre missed all yoour help. We are excited you are in Germany and am glad you are having fun.

Jordan wants to type you something:

You were funny on the bus asleep. I will see you later but when we get back from Cape Cod I am going to Florida with Will so it may be a coupl of weeks before I see you. We are in the attic watching a movie tonight (Sunday).

Sat. June 29, 2008 Munich

This is Munich. In the first picture we are on the balcony of our hotel room. The second picture is of all of us in the town square in front of the opera. Canton

This is Dachau the concentration camp less than ten miles away from Munich. This was the first camp. It was the concentration camp that everybody modeled theirs after. The top picture is artwork outside the museum. The bottom picture is the ovens used to get rid of those who died.

The Sleeping Bus

We have been very tired with busy days, long nights, and adjusting to the time change. This is the road from Heidelberg to Dachau then to Munich. Canton Phillips

6/27/08 Holland and Germany

The first picture is from Heidelburg Germany in front of the town bridge that the Nazis blew up to stop the Allies from entering the city. We toured the city after touring the castle. The second picture is from Amsterdam the bike capital of the world. The guide said there are over two hundred thousand bikes everybody has at least three: work, church, and leisure. The weather has been great. Canton Phillips
